This is the latest book that made me ugly cry. I got so frustrated and mad that I just had to flip through the last few pages to see if it had actually happened. I know. A deadly sin.

Please find it in your heart to forgive me. Don’t know what came over me because I don’t do this. I religiously follow the author’s narration and try to feel what the author makes me want to feel but you have to understand! I was devastated!

My favorite quotes:

Am I not merciful?

Perhaps bravery is simply the face humanity wraps around its collective madness.

He presses the triggers. And like roses in his hands, death blooms.

All he cares about here on the edge of forever, is her. He does not want to die. Not because he is afraid. Simply because he cannot bear the thought of leaving her behind.

I cried a river over this book and it totally Justin Timberlaked me. This book was like, eff you! I don’t care about your “feelings”.

Reading this book, I enjoyed the relationship of Louisa and Will so much that I really thought that… ugh! I can’t even say anything without it being a spoiler! To those of you who have read this book, you know what I thought would happen. You did too!

Louisa teaches Will (and us) about how to enjoy the little things in life and how to make more out of less. What happened to Will was absolutely tragic and I really hope that nobody has to go through anything like that in their life. Makes me wonder if I were in his place… what would I have done? Would I have held on to the little things or would I have given up? I hope I never have to find out how in a matter of seconds, your entire life and take a round about.

I did watch the movie but I sped through it so it doesn’t hit me quite as hard again. Still ended up bawling my eyes out.

They had nothing in common until love gave them everything to lose

. . .

Louisa Clark is an ordinary girl living an exceedingly ordinary life—steady boyfriend, close family—who has barely been farther afield than their tiny village. She takes a badly needed job working for ex–Master of the Universe Will Traynor, who is wheelchair-bound after an accident. Will has always lived a huge life—big deals, extreme sports, worldwide travel—and now he’s pretty sure he cannot live the way he is.

Will is acerbic, moody, bossy—but Lou refuses to treat him with kid gloves, and soon his happiness means more to her than she expected. When she learns that Will has shocking plans of his own, she sets out to show him that life is still worth living.

When she learns that Will has shocking plans of his own, she sets out to show him that life is still worth living.

A Love Story for this generation and perfect for fans of John Green’s The Fault in Our Stars, Me Before You brings to life two people who couldn’t have less in common—a heartbreakingly romantic novel that asks… What do you do when making the person you love happy also means breaking your own heart?

My favorite quotes:

You can only actually help someone who wants to be helped.

You only get one life. It’s actually your duty to live it as fully as possible.

Live boldly. Push yourself. Don’t settle.

This is the third book in The Infernal Devices trilogy by Cassandra Clare and absolutely my favorite conclusion in the history of trilogies.

Back in the day, when twilight and dystopia were still relevant, trilogies were trendy. Every single author would publish their material in the trilogy format and it used to frustrate me to no end! Still does. Since many of these authors did not have an ending strong enough for the angst they put us through, it would end up being a huge let down.

For example, Divergent and The selection series.

This book had none of that.

The ending was bittersweet but that is not what crushed my soul and shattered my heart into a million brilliant pieces. Nope. It was the point when a certain something happened to make way for a certain relationship which was so wrong and so right. AGH! If you’ve read this book, you know what I’m talking about. If you didn’t cry during that part, you shouldn’t have been reading this book because I don’t think you were invested enough.

I am catastrophically in love with you.

Life is a book and there are a thousand pages I have not yet read.

Men may be stronger, but it is women who endure.

There are so many worse things than death. Not to be loved or not to be able to love: that is worse.

I watched the movie before I read the book so of course, I hadn’t quite had my fill of tears over Holly and Gerry’s story. It really teaches you about the realities of life. About how nothing can be taken for granted and in an instant, you can lose everything. But that’s not all. It teaches you how certain tragedies in life can take so much away from you that you may feel like there’s nothing left in life but there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.

But that’s not all. It teaches you how certain tragedies in life can take so much away from you that you may feel like there’s nothing left in life but there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.

You might have to squint at first but if you keep walking in the right direction, it’ll get brighter

top 10 fictional couples

Holly Kennedy receives letters from her late husband that bring her hope, strength and inspiration and make her feel as if he is standing by her side each step of the way.

A novel about holding on, letting go, and learning to love again.

Holly couldn’t live without her husband Gerry, until the day she had to. They were the kind of young couple who could finish each other’s sentences.

When Gerry succumbs to a terminal illness and dies, 30-year-old Holly is set adrift, unable to pick up the pieces.

But with the help of a series of letters her husband left her before he died and a little nudging from an eccentric assortment of family and friends, she learns to laugh, overcome her fears, and discover a world she never knew existed.

The kind of enchanting novel with cross-generational appeal that comes along once in a great while, PS, I Love You is a captivating love letter to the world!

I don’t think this book needs any introduction. What I took away from this book is that people who are sick are not different from us. They’re regular people who have a regular life, plagued by sickness. They fall in love like regular people do and they have dreams like regular people do.

Most of all, one can live a full life in few years and one infinity is made up of a million different infinities and we should be thankful for ours.

You’ll get it once you’ve read the book.

Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning-author John Green’s most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

‘A novel of life and death and the people caught in between, The Fault in Our Stars is John Green at his best. You laugh, you cry, and then you come back for more’

– Markus Zusak, author of The Book Thief
